Moses Junior Holt
Moses was born November 15, 1952 to the late Lumus and Lou Addie Godwin Holt. He departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10:40 a.m. at the Hospice Unit of the VA Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.
He joined Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church and served on the Usher Board until his health declined. He attended Smithfield-Selma Senior High School in Smithfield. After graduation he joined the United States Army and served his country honorably for seven years. After his discharge from the Army, Moses worked at many jobs until his health declined. He was a people person and loved to give "advice." He was a member of St. James 082 Lodge of Selma.
